Most awaited hatchback model Volkswagen Polo has been launched at Auto Expo by European car manufacturer Volkswagen. With petrol and diesel models, the company has launched Volkswagen Polo. Across India, the car will be available in Indain automobile market from March 2010. Volkswagen polo will be accessible with six variants three in petrol and three in diesel. All variants of Volkswagen Polo will be priced in the range of Rs 4 to 7 lacs, according to the company official. For luxury cars, Volkswagen is well known but in India, the company keeps focus on hatchback segment. Due to Volkswagen Polo’s stylish look, performance, advanced features, which are available at low price tag, it got huge popularity at European market.
Volkswagen Polo is accessible with both petrol and diesel engine options. Volkswagen Polo’s petrol variants are motorized by the 1.2L, 1198cc, 3 Cylinder, petrol engine with five speed manual transmission gearbox. The car can touch the 100kmph mark in just 14.2 seconds and never vibrates even after 100kmph speed due to this engine delivers excellent engine power and performance. The 1.2L, 1199cc, 3-Cylinder diesel engine produces 75PS of maximum power at 4200rpm with 180Nm of maximum torque at 2000rpm, is loaded in the diesel variants of Volkswagen Polo.
